Victoria pair Melody Francis and Amelia Pittock are safely through to the quarter-finals of the Delaware State Open in Wilmington, Delaware.
Third seeded Francis beat English qualifier Tina Rix 11-4, 11-8, 11-6 while Pittock was too good fro Guatemala’s Pamela Ackermann, winning 9-11, 11-7, 11-4, 11-2.
Francis next takes on rising US star Olivia Blatchford and Pittock faces top seeded Canadian Miranda Ranieri.
