Brown and Grinham progress in Chennai

Australians Kasey Brown and Rachael Grinham progressed to the quarter-finals of the Chennai Open squash tournament in Chennai, India after both enjoyed first round wins on Thursday.
Third seeded Grinham beat Malaysian qualifier Delia Arnold in four games 11-6, 11-6, 9-11, 11-6 before Brown came back from losing the first game to oust local hope Joshna Chinappa 8-11, 11-5, 11-7, 11-5.
Grinham takes on rising French star Camille Serme in the quarter-finals and is seeded to meet recent nemesis Jenny Duncalf in the final four.
Brown next faces unseeded New Zealander Jaclyn Hawkes, who shocked world number seven Madeline Perry of Ireland 11-8, 11-4, 11-9.
In another first round match New South Wales qualifier Donna Urquhart fell to eighth seeded Mexican Samantha Teran 11-3, 3-11, 11-3, 11-4.
